Listening to Your Inner You

Everyone has a voice in their head that guides them daily. Sometimes this voice is faint and other times it is loud and clear. Along my journey as I grew, I realized that I had a disconnect with my inner voice. My life would have probably went much smoother if I listened. Years ago, I spent years in a relationship that was abusive and toxic. When we first met, I saw so many signs that told me to run the other way. My inner voice told me that I shouldn't be with this person. I just thought my inner voice was an unspoken fear. Because I did not listen to myself, I spent years in this union. I made the same decision not to listen to my inner voice years later and suffered similar consequences, I realized that every time I decided not to listen to myself, things either didn't turn out right or ended up disastrous. I abused myself and allowed others to hurt me, because I failed to listen to the most important person. . . ME

What does your inner voice say to you about your relationship, job, or life? Are you listening?

There are several aspects of ourselves. In other words we are omnipresent and they range from low to high. A lot of people function on such a low vibration frequency that they are too low to hear their higher selves speaking to them. Imagine your highest self on the roof of a high rise building shouting to you and guiding you. If you are on the ground looking up, it will be very difficult to hear what is being said. If you go in the building and catch the elevator up closer to your higher self then you can hear. If you are high enough to hear are you following the guidance of your higher self?

That voice has never let me down. Since I have been listening, my life has been much smoother. Obstacles are easier to handle. The number one way that I listen to my inner voice is through meditation. A healthy meditation practice daily helps tremendously. There are also several healthy benefits to meditation as well. Secondly, listen to those "feelings". How many times have you had a "feeling" that something wasn't right or that you should have made a different decision.? Have you ever felt something "in your gut"? Everyone is born psychic and they have the ability to develop their psychic senses. The "gut feeling" is part of your psychic senses or the hair standing on the back of your neck when you are around someone or something that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Practice makes perfect! Practice listening to yourself. Before making any major decision, take a deep breath and try to quiet your mind. Focus on whatever decision you have to make and listen to that voice in your head. Importantly make sure you are relaxed and focused. Listening to your inner guidance can assist you in more ways you can ever know. All it takes is a little bit of patience and belief in yourself. So lend yourself an ear and take heed.

Peace
